We are a highly respected private school and we provide a great variety of extra activities. Our school has a very unique, both friendly and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Our hairstyling students are known and appreciated for their regular involvement in community events, such as volunteering their expertise as hair stylists in fashion shows, school and theatre plays.

Our goal is to provide quality training in the fields of Cosmetology, Esthetics, Hairdressing and Hair Design in a professional manner. Assistance applying for student loans and convenient payment plans allow our students to easily afford the skills required to make a successful career in hair design a reality!

Our instructors keep abreast with current trends, use and have available for instruction every product and appliance, many before they are made available to salons.  At BwSHD we have an excellent program in which technicians from every major manufacturer come into the school to teach new techniques as well as instruction concerning their products.

After completion of the course at BwSHD you can be employed by yourself, a small company, a national company or international company.  You could be a hairstylist, an esthetician, a salesperson, a technician, a platform artist or any one of the many other prestigious careers.

"As you walk through the door into a strange place not knowing anybody, only knowing what's in-store.  1500 hours it may seem like a long time but before you know it your time is up.  New people come in everyday.  They are not just clients by the time they leave your chair they become your friends.  Within a few weeks the students are no longer classmates they become your team-mates.  Minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day and month by month a bond begins to form and before you know it a friendship is born.

So when 1500 hours are up you are not really finished when you take your last step through that door.  The memories of the teachers and students that have left before you and the clients that have touched your heart will remain for the rest of your life.  The smiles, laughter, the tears of frustrations, and even the drama will remain in memory too.  But at the end of the day you have felt success.  Proud of what you have done.
